yeah so i got bored the other night and was looking around in my engine bay and decided that my timing belt cover was a bit dirty....so i took it off, sanded it down, primered it and painted it a nice black....but that wasn't good enough for me....i wanted something i've never seen before, so here's what i did......

if that doesn't work, browse through my pics in my gallery....link should work though.

the middle of the cover isn't a sticker or something i picked up at autozone, heh....what i did was sketch my front bumper, cut it out, taped it to the timing belt cover, took a marker and outlined it, took some masking tape, placed it over the markings and used a razer blade to cut it out, painted the belt cover black, (two coats), carefully took off the masking tape and hand painted the rest....tell me what you guys think. i think for a first time, it turned out fairly well...

Definate thumbs up.

Has anyone had a previous owner try to paint the fluid reservoirs? Mine are (now) a chipped black color. I should probably try to get the paint off so I can actually see where my fluids are at.

my license plate on my front bumper? i think that used to say "Northcoast Auto Brokers"...i took those pics the day i got my car....anyway, what they really should be called is "Northcoast Auto Crooks"...long, long story about all of that...if you want to know about it, read my crankwalk thread, heh...had to pay out of pocket for ALL repairs when my car was still under the dealership warranty...

thats pretty cool. Ive seen some with logos splashed accross the top like GReddy etc etc , they look pretty neat too. Ofcourse nothing beats the triple diamond.
