1998 4-Door Blazer Floor Trim Removalthreedd97 10-09-2004, 05:34 PM I am installing an amp in a 1998 4-Door Blazer and need to hide these wires under the plastic trim running along the passenger side floor. Any tips on how to safely remove the plastic paneling? Trail Blazin96 10-10-2004, 03:52 PM The plastics in front of the door need to be removed first they just pull up, the kick panels have a screw I think near the firewall, it need to be removed so you can run the wires under the carpet. The seat belt plastic's are held in by clips I dont know if you have to pull the seat belts but the bottom should just be held in by clips also. the rear peices also come right out. Be sure the wires do not sit near the backseat, the movement of lifting the seat will cut in to the wire and short out the system, you can ground the amp to the part of the seat that covers the space just pull the cover off on one side and bolt the Ground wire down on that. Anything else just ask! Let me know how it works out! Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
