yes i have a 92 lumina with a 3.1 and am wondering if the sub frame from 91 grand prix will interchange it also has 3.1 and while im here i have a 94 lumina apv with 3.8 bought it with bad motor or should say engine had lifter noise and wasnt oiling top side so i swapped out engines and the engine i swapped out ran great for about 15 mins then started same thing other engine did so i shut it down well then i restarted it and it ran fine again for bout 20 mins and started it all over but after i shut it off and let it set it is fine for anywhere from 10 mins to 30 mins has got me baffled so i got another engine and am not looking forward to swapping it out again so any help would be appreciated to keep me from haveing to swap out engines again

I dont think that would work. I dunno what body code the lumina is or the gran prix either for that matter, but I do know the lumina is a bigger car.
