Question How Far can you go on a Full tank of Gas?

Just a quick question...

To a full tank of gas, What are you getting for distance? Please only tell me if you have a Cav between 90 - 93 with a 3.1L V6. Thanks..

Hey....I have a 94, z24. I dont know if the gas tanks are of different holding sizes from the 91-93, but i can get 291 miles on a full, i mean damn near gushing out full....before it starts puttering, i was too afraid to see how much more i could go before it died out.....

Am I the only person that's noticed that (at least in my car) the gage seems to fall a lot faster once it's past the 1/2 way mark? Just wondering if I'm alone on that.

I think the fuel gauge is only an estimate at best. The first half is not the same as the second half - even though the half point mark looks to be exactly in half. I've driven a lot of cars and none of them got the same milage on the first half as it did on the second. Physics would dictate that the second half should get better milage since the car is lighter (1/2 tank less of fuel.) Sadly, it' snot that way at all. I'm driving a 200SX right now and I can make 350KM on the first half, where as I only make close to 300KM on the second.

Well.. I just rebuilt my Engin in my Car (91 Z24) And you wouldn't believe what I get for Milage..

On a full tank.. Like I mean full full.. I get like 350KM to a FULL tank... I must say that I dont drive the slowest but I'm not hot dogin it all the time either..

I just think that thats a little low..

But thanks a million for all your guys replys ;-)

Have a good one.

Yea that's not very good. My 90 3.1L Z24 gets around 330, and I do a lot of city driving. I wish these cars came with gas lights. I found out the hard way that my gas gauge doesn't go all the way to E before she's runnin on fumes.

i have a 2000 z24 and to me it seems like after it drops from the full mark the tank is about gone...i dunno what it is but my car isn't that great on gas, but i guess the size of the tank might have something to do with it b/c i'm used to my boyfriends 03 dodge ram lasting a while...but he has like a 36 gal tank
