Like me most people will recomend turbocharging. I think in the forced induction section theres an article posted about the differences and advantages/disadvantages between turbo and supercharging.

To be honest a superhcharger doesn't seem like must of a project since all your doing in installing it. ( I've never done this so i can't say how complicated it is). Building your own turbo system would be a bigger and more complicated project but alot more fun.

Also in general turbos are more flexable in terms of power and are much easier to upgrade.

a supercharger is limited in power while a turbo can go whatever power you want. supercharger= instant boost, turbo=alittle bit lag before boost. of course the amount of lag depends on the size of the turbo. also superchargers dont require as much maintenance.

i say if your look for 300whp and nothing more then go supercharger, if you want big hp like 400whp+ then go turbo. but then again theres also the vortech supercharger which can be also produce high hp numbers. yeah like the other guy was saying, so read the sc, turbo post and learn

This question is usually asked twice a week. Maybe someone should make a statistic about it.

Ahem, superchargers are much easier to upgrade than tubrochargers, all you have to do is change the pulley size...

You can also build your own supercharger setup, I'm having a custom intake made to fit a supercoupe supercharger that I picked up for $100.

It should easily push 20lbs of boost.
