Engine missfiring! HELP!

I have a '95 Beretta z26. Car shakes occasionally when accelerating up hill and when idling. I've heard of problems with the coil packs and EGR on this car. This could be anything from spark plugs to injectors. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it with out exhausting every possible option?

Let me know,
Nick

I had the same problem on my z24, mine was the EGR. bad idle, bad high end. the idle was bad enough that sometimes it would stall while waiting at red lights.

i have a 94 beretta which also had idle misfire problems. i replaced the spark plugs and wires and that seemed to help a little bit. also, try adding a bottle of fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank every once in a while. a little after this, the check engine light came on with an improper idle code. I had the IAC valve replaced about 6 months ago and its been running fine since with no idle problems what so ever.
