What size and type tire for 67 Firebird?

I just bought a 67 Firebird convertible with the wrong size tires (15") and wrong wheels but the guy gave me the original Rally II code JA wheels which are 14x6 wheels. I want to get radial tires for the ride and the car will be a driver so the original type tires are not important. What is a good size and a good looking tire to get? How about a decent place with a good price also? You can e-mail me a jab862@yahoo.com with ideas. Thanks, Jeff

I just bought a 67 firebird with 245x50x16. It looks pretty mean. The cheapest place for tires would be some place like discount tire. you can look at their tires at discounttire.com
