OKay guys, I have a 99 Mustang and i want a body kit for it, I see alot of Saleen kits around where i live so that one is out of the question. I love Steeda kits, so that one is in my list. I found one from groud designs called the Black Widow and so far that seems like the one i will most likely get. I need some feedback and suggestions on other kits.. thanks..:alien:

You can look at Kaminari they have pretty good kit. IT is based off of the FR500 so if you like how that looks than go for it is runs about $1200 to $1600 for everything. Rouch and Saleen charge too much for their name..

the stalker kit from cervinis.com is awesome!! i seen one around here, and i like it alot...i got the stalker front bumper for my 90 GT and i'm greatly satisfied with it...

The advantage to the stalker kit is you can buy it with a ram air induction system. Have to admit the roush package really turns heads though.

I would either go with the Roush kit, but as you said the Blackwiddow II kit looks pretty sweet. Especially with that wing, it goes great with 99 and up mustangs.

i have seen the Xenon and it doesn't look that good in real life i'd vote for the Steeda

I have to say, the Roush kit looks amazing! I'm not really fond of the Black Widow kit though. It makes the car look really boxy and miss-matched in the front. I am also of fan of the Cervini's stalker kits, they look pretty mean! I would go with the stalker if it were my car.

I agree with going for the stalker kit. I think it is the best looking kit out there right now for your model of mustang. Or if you want to dish out the cash go for the Saleen kit. But for the price and looks I would say stalker.

OFF TOPIC: Hey hmongstang, Are those GTO or GTS*cant remember* headlight covers? Ive been wanting to buy some but dont know where to buy them. I heard places like Autozone but all I see there is APC stickers and Type R badges. :rolleyes:

As far as body kit, I have 3 to choose from right now:

A Saleen body kit with Carbon fiber hood, wing, and mirrors, along with a custom paint job.

A Cobra R front bumper with Roush side-exhaust, Saleen hood and Saleen or Steeda wing.

A complete Roush Stage 3 kit


All would look badass and turn heads :smile:

I recently smashed up the front of my 2000 stock stang, and i have been looking high and low for the fairly mild, but aggressive looking kit. After reviewing all the kits out there my personal favorite is the Roush Stage 3. I'll have to say there aren't too many of these in my neck of the woods.

I will be upgrading my exhaust soon to accomidate this kit...

Deffinately get the Saleen S281E Carbon Fiber Hood, it's frickin' awesome. I think that if you can find it, the Octane/R34 front bumper is sweet. For SN95's they even make it totally Carbon Fiber.

as far as i go, i'd love to get a stalker kit for my stang, but it's an 86 and you can't get 'em for that year. i am thinking about getting 87+ GT ground effects (rockers, bumpers) and shaving the GT lettering, so it just says 'MUSTANG' on the sides. although i'd really like to make the 86 LX front bumper work with it somehow. oh yeah, and a saleen coupe wing on the back, those are badass.

I had the whole black widow kit on mine but had to change the front bumper. This time I chose the cobra r front bumper. I still have the rest of the kit on including hood, wing and it looks great. IMO it looks much tougher.
