I am in the process of buying a body kit for my Mustang...Help..josedi 06-03-2001, 05:34 PM OKay guys, I have a 99 Mustang and i want a body kit for it, I see alot of Saleen kits around where i live so that one is out of the question. I love Steeda kits, so that one is in my list. I found one from groud designs called the Black Widow and so far that seems like the one i will most likely get. I need some feedback and suggestions on other kits.. thanks..:alien: enzo@af 06-04-2001, 04:49 AM Roush. They are the best. Gorgeous in it's subtlety. http://www.geocities.com/Phattcars25/roush8.jpg malak8 06-28-2001, 01:59 PM You can look at Kaminari they have pretty good kit. IT is based off of the FR500 so if you like how that looks than go for it is runs about $1200 to $1600 for everything. Rouch and Saleen charge too much for their name.. my95cobras 07-09-2001, 03:08 PM look at the XENON kit it looks bad ass www.teamxenon.com autodirectsave 07-17-2001, 05:52 PM I GOT BODY KITS FOR YOU WINGS WEST AND KAMINARI WWW.AUTODIRECTSAVE.COM josedi 07-25-2001, 01:37 PM Hmm Cool beanies... 1FST2M6 07-25-2001, 03:47 PM you checked with Razzi? they're just north of atl. and gave a friend a pretty good deal on his Focus kits... www.razzi.com StrokerStang347 06-05-2003, 01:31 PM the stalker kit from cervinis.com is awesome!! i seen one around here, and i like it alot...i got the stalker front bumper for my 90 GT and i'm greatly satisfied with it... muttang01 06-07-2003, 12:27 PM The advantage to the stalker kit is you can buy it with a ram air induction system. Have to admit the roush package really turns heads though. AirAllen01 06-07-2003, 12:32 PM I would either go with the Roush kit, but as you said the Blackwiddow II kit looks pretty sweet. Especially with that wing, it goes great with 99 and up mustangs. Ace$nyper 06-08-2003, 11:32 PM i have seen the Xenon and it doesn't look that good in real life i'd vote for the Steeda HiFlow5 0 06-09-2003, 08:33 AM Originally posted by AirAllen01 I would either go with the Roush kit, but as you said the Blackwiddow II kit looks pretty sweet. Especially with that wing, it goes great with 99 and up mustangs. I have to say, the Roush kit looks amazing! I'm not really fond of the Black Widow kit though. It makes the car look really boxy and miss-matched in the front. I am also of fan of the Cervini's stalker kits, they look pretty mean! I would go with the stalker if it were my car. hardball_7 08-18-2003, 03:14 PM I agree with going for the stalker kit. I think it is the best looking kit out there right now for your model of mustang. Or if you want to dish out the cash go for the Saleen kit. But for the price and looks I would say stalker. hmongstang 08-18-2003, 03:24 PM LOOKING for something like this? NO flame please i poste these for the guy only! LOVE and Peace :grinyes: http://www.mustangmods.com/data/1321/ricerocket.jpg http://www.mustangmods.com/data/1321/YAP%20YAP.jpg DkShadow 08-19-2003, 03:11 PM OFF TOPIC: Hey hmongstang, Are those GTO or GTS*cant remember* headlight covers? Ive been wanting to buy some but dont know where to buy them. I heard places like Autozone but all I see there is APC stickers and Type R badges. If you could tell me what they are and where i can get them id greatly appreciate it :smooch:  -- As far as body kit, I have 3 to choose from right now: A Saleen body kit with Carbon fiber hood, wing, and mirrors, along with a custom paint job. A Cobra R front bumper with Roush side-exhaust, Saleen hood and Saleen or Steeda wing. A complete Roush Stage 3 kit All would look badass and turn heads  hmongstang 08-19-2003, 03:31 PM those are GTO! i bought them from http://www.sacramento-mustang.com/.........then spray painted them for darker. as for bodykit i think "A Cobra R front bumper with Roush side-exhaust, Saleen hood and Saleen or Steeda wing. will looks badass mdh2087 08-22-2003, 08:45 PM I would go with the black widow kit. It's awesome looking! Ok this is just a link to a picture of the kit its really a listing for the hood. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2428602943&category=36475 kdeeez 03-30-2004, 02:36 PM I recently smashed up the front of my 2000 stock stang, and i have been looking high and low for the fairly mild, but aggressive looking kit. After reviewing all the kits out there my personal favorite is the Roush Stage 3. I'll have to say there aren't too many of these in my neck of the woods. I will be upgrading my exhaust soon to accomidate this kit... Good Luck! Cobra01TT 03-30-2004, 02:52 PM Deffinately get the Saleen S281E Carbon Fiber Hood, it's frickin' awesome. I think that if you can find it, the Octane/R34 front bumper is sweet. For SN95's they even make it totally Carbon Fiber. StangNut86 03-30-2004, 06:48 PM Deffinately get the Saleen S281E Carbon Fiber Hood, it's frickin' awesome. I think that if you can find it, the Octane/R34 front bumper is sweet. For SN95's they even make it totally Carbon Fiber. carbon fiber? r34? *sigh*... whenever i hear the words 'body kit' i get suspicious i say, leave the japanese-lookin stuff on japanese cars as far as i go, i'd love to get a stalker kit for my stang, but it's an 86 and you can't get 'em for that year. i am thinking about getting 87+ GT ground effects (rockers, bumpers) and shaving the GT lettering, so it just says 'MUSTANG' on the sides. although i'd really like to make the 86 LX front bumper work with it somehow. oh yeah, and a saleen coupe wing on the back, those are badass. DareDevilGt 08-07-2005, 12:13 AM I had the whole black widow kit on mine but had to change the front bumper. This time I chose the cobra r front bumper. I still have the rest of the kit on including hood, wing and it looks great. IMO it looks much tougher. 351wStang 08-07-2005, 12:12 PM Well thats nice but its also just a little late. This thread was started in 2001. Did you not read the AF rules? No threads brought back more than 3 months old? DareDevilGt 08-07-2005, 04:17 PM Srry..........., So why do you only tell me and not the people that posted in 2003 and 2004. 351wStang 08-07-2005, 04:21 PM I'm sure something was said to them. Also you are new here and just as I thought you didnt know anything about not bringing back old threads. b3warnick 08-07-2005, 08:48 PM Can the Mods lock or delete threads older than 3 months old so this sorta thing doesn't happen? Just curious. 351wStang 08-07-2005, 09:22 PM It would be nice to lock them so that they can still be sourced for searches and linked in other threads. GTStang 08-08-2005, 12:00 AM If your a mod and you lock old threads clap your hands... *clap clap* :icon16: Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
