Body lift and Sway bars4 wheel 09-30-2004, 09:19 AM I'm, looking for a little more "lift". I don't really want to go the route of a suspension lift as my dealer said it could void some warrantee parts. With a body lift there will be less to be concerned with a/b warrantee and expense. 1. Does any one have any suggestions on a top quality body lift kits 2. What should I be looking for and be careful about? I only want to go 1-2". I hear that neoprene spacers are the best, and that it's important to cover as much area with the spacers as possible. 3. What about Sway Bars? Should I install this after the body lift kit, or doe it not matter? Thanks again, 4 wheel jeverett 09-30-2004, 09:55 AM Neoprene? I thought thats what diver's suits are made of. You sure you don't mean polyurethane? greenz71 07-25-2005, 09:10 PM i have a performance accessories body lift on my truck and its a great kit very easy to install but i wouldn't suggest it because i have installed one on a 99, 02 ande my 00 and all three of them get pretty warm in stop and go traffic airjam18 07-26-2005, 12:03 AM I don't know if there even are many manufacturers of body lifts for NBS silverado's except Performance accessories......I've got one on my truck in addition to a suspension lift.....it was pretty easy to install and to be honest it didn't really affect anything except for tire clearance......since the body goes up 3 inches the radiator rises 3" above the fan......i havent noticed any problems from that even in heavy traffic while towing.......I'd recommend it but you gotta use gap guards...... as for sway bars....there should be stock one but if there isn't then i'd probably wait to see what will work with the BL....
