I just bought a 1992 jetta,and i was wondering if anybody knows if the rear seat folds down.They MOve half an inch when i pull on it but they dont go down.Does anybody know if they do,and if so how?Im going on a trip and i need the space.

If they have tabs on both ends of the backrest, and it hinges, then it should fold down.

it doesnt but on back of the seat <inside of trunk>there are these 4 latches,one in each corner,i dont know if they are to remove the seat or just fold it down
