Question Coding Plug `87 E32 730i SE

Has anyone had any experience of the mileage reading 300,000 and not changing? Also the trip resets every time U start the car??
And the petrol, temp gauge and check control don`t work straight away???
Does this mean that the coding plug has had about enough??
Any help woould be VERY much appreciated.

Thanxxx

Same here

That makes 2 of us Phillip, I've had the exact same problems, also the headlights seem to decide to take a rest now and then, that gets a bit hairy! I found that if I put the heater on everything sorts itself out, although it doesnt stop the trip from resetting.
Good Luck, an if anyone knows a cure, PLEASE PLEASE let us both know.
