Howdy, I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with. I need to replace the ACC relay on my wife's 1983 Sentra and I can't seem to locate the old relay on the car. The Chilton's book I have say's it's located on the front passenger side behind the headlight. Well it's not. Does anyone know where it is?

Howdy, Yup. I bought an ACC relay and checked front left, front right behind the battery, under the dash above the fuse pannel, and right next to the master cylinder under the hood. The only other thing I can think of is to ask for help. I hate to say it but I am a bit unfamiliar with this car as of yet. I haven't had to work on it much as it has been very reliable so far. I refuse to take it to a dealer, a pride issue I suppose. Oh well,,,

well there is the relay box on the rightside of the engine compartment its been in the same place they tell me for twenty years

Howdy, Well folks I found the ACC relay. It is under the dash on top of the fuse panel. Now all I have to do is convince the Haynes repair manual of this location. The manual locates this relay behind the right headlight, So I thought I would let ya'll know that this case is closed. Kinda reminds me of what one of my old Warrent Officers once told me in the Army. When in doubt, Throw the manual in the crapper!
