sup. I prolly sound like a fuckin idiot for asking such a question but does anyone know if it is possible to reseal the two parts of a 95 Civic Automatic Transmission that are conjoined without taking the transmission out or apart. The leak is coming from the seam where the two parts of the transmission case meet.

well you could take a sealer and apply it to the joint. but not sure how well that will help the situation. Unless caked on the joint.....
Best would be to pull it apart clean and reseal properly. Best of luck to you though...
