S15_nz 09-19-2004, 06:24 AM i have one, and im in auckland lol, i don't want to sell it tho. Good luck finding a R2 man, its gonna be hard, I think there are only 50 in the North Island. pat99 09-20-2004, 02:00 AM whats the point u telling me that for?u know where i can find it thou? S15_nz 09-21-2004, 02:54 AM The point of me telling you that there are only about 50 in the Northern Island is that its going to be hard finding one. Tho, my friend also has an R2, he may be selling it, its prolly the best conditioned S15 i have ever seen, only 2000 km's on the clock, its like brand new. Ill PM you if he wants to sell it, I dont think hes going to sell it for at least a year tho. pat99 09-21-2004, 05:24 AM thanks anyway s15_nz,but 1 year is too long for me,i cant wait anymore lol, where did u guys got those spec-r2?or do u know there are any for sale around?either private sale or car dealer? S15_nz 09-21-2004, 08:19 AM i got mine through a local nissan car dealer just before the S15's finished production. To be honest, I think you should just look for a spec R, its going to save you a lot of time and money. Go to www.autopoint.co.nz , they should have spec R's for sale. Its just going to be too hard finding a R2, the reason people got them is because they went out of production, chances are that they want to keep the car. Spec R's are just as powerful, 186kw (J-spec) it just doesnt have all the extras pat99 09-22-2004, 02:48 AM could u tell me whats the difference between spec-r and spec-r2 other than the mags?is there any difference with the interior?i heard my frd said that the engine tuning of spec-r2 is better than spec-r..and i guess it will be hard to find a good condition spec-r too..im a fan of 200sx so i just wanna get the top model of it which is spec-r2..what do u think s15_nz? S15_nz 09-22-2004, 05:33 AM Spec R 2's were sold for 40k (NZD) instead of 60k. Also, you got free: alarm, 17" ROH mags with low profile tyres, modified twin exhaust, door matts, pioneer head unit and spoiler. They were sold in late 2002 just before they finished production, so they are thought of being the limited edition S15's. The Nissan dealer told me that there are minor tuning modifications which produces 30 more horsepower. I have driven other stock S15's and i do think there a difference in power, not too much tho.
