rim and tire questions.

i like to know if a set of 17x7.5 (the front) and 17x8.5 (the back) rims fit my 1991 mr2 turbo. Are the rims too big for the car? can it scratch my fender when i turn? Are there any modifications that i need to do before putting on those rim size. also, what would be the recommended tire size for the rims. any comment will be much appreciated. thanks.

offset

the rims are actually 17x7.0". the offset of the rim is 42. so can it fit fine on my car without any modifications.

Re: rim and tire questions.

hope they are still wider on the back!

from memory you'll need a 40 profile with a 17"

Re: rim and tire questions.

The rim does not have to be wider in the back.
I do recommend, at the very least, having a wider tire in the back.
