99 Civic rolls back in drive normal?bpitt 09-17-2004, 01:09 PM I noticed the other day that while at a stop light at the top of hill my car started rolling back if I didn't hit the brakes. Is this normal? None of my other cars did this. Shouldn't the tranny lock the car from rolling back in drive? Do I have tranny problems? XixGenuinexiX 09-17-2004, 02:08 PM if it is a manual.. yes it's normal. rushb18 09-17-2004, 02:11 PM Well on automatics i have seen hondas do that stuff before on a big enough hill yea they will roll back. Now if it is a manual u might wanna push the brake in lol..later bpitt 09-19-2004, 04:21 PM Sorry, forgot to mention it is an automatic.
