Did you Put A meter on The Battery?

Did you put a volt meter on the battery?, if it's putting out 12volts it's probably the alternator, If it read 14-14.5 it's charging, as far as a cheap fix goes, either go to your local wreckers or go to a rebuilder in you local area, most will repair (Replace Regulator), probably your problem fairly cheap.

Good Luck

And when i shift to 5th gear now it acts like it wants to die ... i wanna get this fix since i get paid 2moro... can anyone help???
