Pretty interesting. I believe GM also made a top-speed-runner Cavalier a few years ago.

so when does the cobalt come out and whats it run the 1/4 in? the redline has the same setup and its slow at 15.3 stock, mainly cause the tranny sucks so hopefully that was fixed for the cobalt.. stock it should run 14.8... guess we will see when ppl start taking it down to the track..

I'd guess a bit higher than 14.8. I've heard that the 200 hp is underrated, and that's actually about what they make at the wheels...this car is sounding more and more like the SRT-4 every day

heard rumors about a turbo AWD concept but no documentaion to back it up, anyone here heard the same??? or have links to info?

I have never heard of such a thing and I try to keep up with info o this car but it is a concept

well the body is unmistakeably cav inspired, however, seeing as chevy is targeting the sport compact market, where the civic is currently king of the hill, it dosnt surprise me that they took some styling cues, such as the large headlights that look more like a civic than a cav. chevy is learning from the competition, in order to steal sales.
