Shocks and Rubber bumper (rear)viper1861 09-15-2004, 06:38 PM 1. Anyone know where I can get the rear end suspension Bump stops for a 1990 Cherokee Ltd? One is rotted out so I might as well replace both. The dealer wants about $40 each which is way high. 2. Also any ideas on new shocks choices? I have Gabriel Premium Gas Truck Shocks with about 120k miles on them. A few people mentioned that if I don't do much off road or pulling I should go with softer shocks. I pull trailers often with mine and the shocks helped handling and ride unbeliveably. they don't make it ride as hard empty as people told me either as long as you run reasonable pressure in the system. it used to bottom out but the new shocks no longer allow it to ride that low. good luck Jay viper1861 09-18-2004, 01:13 PM Thanks for the advice. Since Monroe was having a buy 4 get one free shock rebate I went with reflex shocks all around. As for the bump stops $45+ for each was too much so I'll make my own or salvage the old ones.
