Exclamation I need Help

lately my car has been stalling every time I slow down for a stop sign or light. My radio won't turn on and I've heard that's one of the first signs of transmission problems....what's wrong!

I have a '94 Galant. Over a year ago.. out of the middle of nowhere it just decided to start stalling. Finally after a month of the mechanic trying to figure stuff out, I took it to a transmission place and had to have the transmission rebuilt.
