lacking power???

i have a 91 cutlass ciera 3.3 V6 and after i drive the car for a while the car seemes to lack power and is sluggish to accelerate...anyone know what may be causing this?

Might want to try coil packs. I had 2 go out within a month of each other and the symptoms I experienced were similar to yours.

i replaced the spark plugs not to long ago along with wires....its funny u mention the coil packs last winter my car wouldn't start after it was foggy/raining......are the coil packs hard to replace?

Mine were replaced at the shop so I don't know for sure, but i would assume they aren't too hard to change yourself. I would have done mine myself, but i didn't know what the problem was so had to take ti to the shop. If you changed the plug wires yourself, you might want to make sure they are routed properly and not touching each other or the engine.

also try your coolant temp sensor. this is right above your water pump. Youll seen two spark plug looking units with wires going into them. Your coolant temp sensor is the one towards the front of the car.
When your car is cool....unplug the wires and use 19mm socket to remove and replace. A little bit of coolant will come out this is normal. I paid 18.99 for my cts sensor @ checker auto parts.
