My brother went against my suggestions and bought some coilovers that seem to be the general kind, like one size fits all....

they are made by maxspeed. they're blue.

anyway the problem is with tightening them. i cant tighten them for CRAP! and then i ask my neighbour (a bodybuilder dude, and he can barely do crap either) any suggestions?

tighten them? what does that mean? adjusting the height and the tightening the nut? wht car?

i think hes talking bout twistin the thing that moves up and down on the threads to raise or drop.. my cousin once had a set that he said "locked up" im not sure what he did about it...

i mean adjust the height, theres 2 rings that you twist,, the problem is they are VERY VERY VERY tight. the spring is very stiff.

is this just how all coilovers are?

did you try jaking it up so the weight comes off the suspension on the one your doing?
