One of my bastard friends thought it would be funny to jump on my hood when goin in reverse into a parkings space when i wasnt lookin and dented it before football practice, so im makin his ass pay for a new hood and i figured it would be cheaper for him to just buy a carbon fiber hood than it would be to buy a factory one, paint it, then find out he'd have to repaint the whole car because it wouldnt be the same shade of black because the rest of the car would be kinda faded. . . . . i cant find any carbon fiber hoods for a '98 GTP anywhere though, so if you could tell me where i could find one i'd really appreciate it, thanks.

Good like. Sounds like your friend will have to get another newspaper route. In stock ones are around $400.00. Custom built ones are a lot higher.

Is there a crease in the hood?? If not i'd see if a shop can pull the dent out. I had some hail damage that paintless dent repair was used to fix and it looks like nothing ever happened.

Junkyard or www.clubgp.com classified section would be your best bet for a cheap stocker.

Just received a email from Body kits. They no longer make a hood for the Grand Prix. Only for a couple "rice burners".
