235/75/15's are the stock size on a 4X4. I've had them on mine since my first tire replacement. My '96 came with 235/70/15. I went up to the 235/75/15. I think they just look better than the 70 series.

Not many options

I have a 96 Jimmy, and i put 235/75 BFGoodrich which are stock size. There isnt much room to add size. 30x9.50 will fit, you can fit 31x10.50 or maybe even 32x11.50's with some fender trimming, and a good amount of it for the 32's

Let me know how it turns out

Re: tire size HELP

They turned out to fit pretty well. Actually, the Falkens I had on it before these were the same size exept they were LTs, and those rubbed the fender a little bit more. These new ones are the same size (P235/75/15) look more rugged, yet dont rub against the fender as much.

Question? Is the rubbing a problem? I also have 235 75 15 on my 1995 jimmy and it rubs in a sharp turn its a 4x2 Should I consider smaller tires?

When I had my 30x9.5's there was no rubbing, I get minor rubbing at full lock with my 31x10.5's (you don't have to trim the fender until you go to 32's)
