i had the same problem with my jetta.. is yours a 2.0? if it is, check your oil pressure sensor,it has a boot on it with a wire coming off it. if oil is leaking from there you need a new one. that could solve your leaking oil problem too, it may just be dripping down your oil pan.

if you just want to stop the beeping for the time being splice that wire that comes off the sensor and run it to a ground. it will never beep.

well i ran the car for about a 100 miles today and i found out what i can do when it starts beeping.
perss the clutch and rev it up to 4000 it stops right then and there..
well that worked
i also noticed it never happens on the freeway, only in the city when i am running the motor at a constant 2200 revs or around that ,only then is when it happens.
so i just tell u just rev it up good
thats what the car likes..
have a nice day

Careful.. Aworn oil pump can do the same, and running with it too long can cause a lot of damage.
