its a 3.0L turbo tagar top , what is it a MK2 ? or idk ... if anyone knows please tell. and what are some good/bad things about the car. is the turbo good? how much psi does it make? im stil new to supras , so yeah.. PEACE!

It's a very good car IMO once you get past the BHG and rod knock problems, just watch out for both when you go to look at it, also pull the codes, check for milkshake in the oil cap, is the dipstick pushed out after you go driving? Just keep an eye out for any signs that something is wrong and check all the basic things you would for any other car like paint and rust. Check for water leaking from the targa top, is the carpet discolored, wet? How many miles are on it? Does it have TEMS? Only a wussy 6psi is stock, still alot more fun than most other cars though. The 7M is capable of so much more than stock, lots of people have 500hp now, a few are going as far as 700+, plan to have a big wallet if you aim for either. The body isn't the best for cornering but with some nice coilovers and swaybars it can keep up, it's no RX7 but it can be close. The targa is a definite downfall to handling, the car just feels like a wet noodle with the top off, I've built Targa X-braces that stiffen it right back up to hardtop handling. My #1 peice of advice is to search and read and then read some more, search here, search supraforums, search google even, there is a wealth of knowledge out there.
