hard to open door

I have to pull like a son of a gun on the interior door release to open the drivers side door. The door opens fine from the outside. Could the interior mechanism between the latch and handle become bent somehow? I lubed the exterior with silicone. Like I say, the door opens fine from the outside.

Re: hard to open door

Probably the level on the inside is messed up somehow, if you can take off the interior pieceon the door and see behind it. See if you can see the level or linkage.Just move the door release back and forth to see if you can see something moving.Im not to sure how to replace it though. That would your best bet.
