Question engine fan

i eventually want to put in a new radiator with electric fans, but in the mean time i have a stock plastic fan, and was reading that i can put in a flex medal fan that can increase air flow when idle and decrease drag while driving.. is this true and is it a wise choise for now?

I agree,the factory one is on a clutch anyway and works just fine.
