Please help...Do I need to buy a new Tranny or what. Becasue After driving for about 30min to an hour it starts to jump into 2nd gear and if I turn the engine off then back on it works fine. Does anyone know what the deal is???

well what year is your car? could be electrical!

its a 2000 with 95000 miles on it....about a month ago it started with the SES light flashing on and off and shaking real bad but the 5th cylinder was just misfiring that is fixed now but still the tranny is crappin out on me. I dont know if i need a new one or not but im lookin at some. In case i have to.

if you can afford it, i would chnge it over to a 6 speed and be done with that automatic junk. but these new auto tranny's are hard to diagnose with all of the electronic garb that is put on them. im thinking that it could be a rotten vaccum hose, or may just need flushed and have a new filter put in it.
