Front sway bar end links

I had my jeep inspected at me local dealer around july 8th (98 grand 4.0 I6)and was told my front sway bar end links needed to be replaced.
they quoted me a price of $130 installed wich i thought wasnt bad but would like to save some cash if its not to difficult a job too do myself
was also wondering if this could be the cause of my tires haveing worn out so fast.
i bought the jeep in april and checked the tires wich looked new at the time. i was checking out a home video my wife shot on july 3rd and the tires still looked relatively new
just curious why the tires seem to have worn with only 2500 miles put on since i bought it
on a side note the dealer never told me my tires were low on air as i recently discovered the 2 fill stations ive used to check tire pressure give me a bad reading, off by about 8-10 psi on the low side.
ive since bought a tire gauge and have been driving around with all four tires at a different presure all low by anywhere from 5-10 psi
im sure this could be a culprit as well??
im sorry i forgot exactly what tires and size i have and im parked up the steet as i type this so cant run and check right now
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

The end links are pretty easy top replace. If your tires are wearing like that, get an alignment!
