Mazda 626 1993shymarcus 08-22-2004, 01:52 PM Hello, I was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions. I have a Mazda 626 - 1993. I recently purchased this car and the problem I am having is when I stop for any reason. The car acts like it wants to stall and sometimes it does stall. When I start it back up, it starts up with no problem. Drives with no problem but if i come to a complete stop it stalls or acts as if it wants to stall, any suggestions would be appreciated. My email address is mnj1969@hotpop.com. Thanks in advance................................Marcus Alejo_nin 09-24-2004, 07:59 PM i'm having the same problem, some say its related to the ATX, others to the IAT, other to TPS and others to the Coolant Temp Sensor, so far i've tried everything, and the one that works for me is when i found out that the CTS was acting on me...i haven't got around changing it, but i did notice that when unplugging it the RPMS go higher and the car won't stall at full stop, also noticed that when u shut the engine off and try to start it up again with it unplugged, it will rotate but won't start, the reasong being that this sensor kinda checks how hot the water is and if it goes beyond a certain point, the ECU thinks it overheated and shuts the engine off... good luck resolving the problem, i'm still in kinda a dilema about it vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
