04 Boxster Review

Any thoughts out there are whether my experience to date is typical or atypical. I understand that new cars can have a problem now and then, but my experience to date concerns me. I have 6000 miles on a 2004 Boxster. I have had it in for an electrical problem that blew the fuse for the power windows and door locks. It also needed a switch that regulated the cam at idle. Now, the ignition switch gets stuck in the off position and it is difficult to turn the key to the one position. Sure, these items will all be taken care of with warranty, but I guess I expected more from Porsche. This is my first experience with the brand. Is my experience unusual or have you been hearing this before on this forum? Now, with these things said, I can also say that I LOVE my car! I can be forgiving for this one. I'm new to this forum and enjoy reading all of the posts.
