98 Explorer - Brake Lights Out

The brake lights on my 98 Explorer stopped working a few days ago. I just replaced the sockets and bulbs since they looked fairly corroded and also replaced the fuses but they still don't work. The blinkers, back up lights and flashers all work fine. Ideas?

Thanks Rivguy, I replaced the brake light switch and the brake lights are now working! Probably saved myself $100+ by fixing it myself. Thanks Much!!

I was also having a problem with the automatic door locks not locking anymore. Replacing this switch seems to have fixed that problem too!
