Anyone know? I want to put an aftermarket deck in, and was wondering. If it does have a foctory amp, what would I have to do to it to put in say a pioneer deh-p7500mp? Any modifications to factory wiring? Thanks.

If it has the Delco/Bose system, I believe it does. My 2000 Impala has power drops in the trunk to ease installation of aftermarket audio comp. I bet yours does too. Look at the manual, or call the service dept. for more info.

P.S. I find Best Buy knows EVERYTHING about all models, and sells adapter harnesses to do almost any job.

My car has a delco cd player, but its not a bose system. I also know I have hookups for aftermarked amps and things under my passenger seat. Thanks for your info, I might just drop a pioneer in and see what happens, worst outcome would be a blown factory 6x9, oh, ouch, those cost what 9.99 at wal mart to replace? Big loss there. I wish I would blow one, cause then I'd replcae them with pioneers. Can you tell I'm all for chevy's and pioneers?
