With all the problems I see on this web site, it is scary owning a BMW, what are the good things about owning a BMW? It seems like the whole car has already been covered!!

Hi chatx:

I cannot speak for anyone else, but for me I own a 2004 BMW 530i, my first Bimmer, and I have never seen, drove or own a finer automobile.

Also I have read, and found when researching to buy mine, where BMW holds it resale value quite well, where other cars loose up to 56% the first three years. The 2004 BMW 5 series is a safe car and wins awards for this.

Another words it is not only a great safer car than most, but it also seems to hold it resale value well!

Now the above writing is just my opinion on BMW's, and I hope it can help you when your considering a BMW. (Also with today's cost as high $$$ as they are, you might want to buy an extended warranty with any car you purchase, a BMW or whatever) ,

Pressley

Hey thanks for the reply, I agree with you, I was just having a bad day. Listen, I think you are from Atlanta and you were talking about oil changes. Has Kaufman tires turned out to be a good choice? Also I know you have new BMW but do you know any good service places beside the dealer? Thanks, Kim

-Very quiet passanger compartment. You got the engine upto 6 grand it sounds like its at 4.
-good cournering. You can take off/on ramps at 45-50 without any body roll.
-on the 745's theres so many options your get confused.
-SMG's arnt to hot IMO. Ill take a 5speed over it.
SMG is the lame persons 5speed. "Oh im to tyred to shift let me make it auto." or something like that.
-Good over all car, little pricy for the car and very pricy to repair them. But if you cant afford one then your looking at the wrong manufactuer.
