Setanta: It's been in NZ since 1994.

Not us kiwi folks.......give us a holla when you've fitted 18's, it's in the weeds, has a custom one off kit, and you've turboed that ZC!!!
It will look sweet with a ride height reduction....Civic's always do.:alien:

SiRedge - don't chop your springs. I have a set of heavy duty lowered EF springs if you want them. Huge drop, but you might want to visit the chiropractor if the roads are bumpy (kiwis have roads right? ). Yours for the cost of shipping and a case of beer. It'd save you cutting down your springs - that way you can put them back on if you don't like the drop etc. Only issue is that in true JDM backyard performance style, the back springs drop out of the cups when you jack up the rear On the plus side, they are wound not cut - even if they are 400lb on each corner

BTW, what year model is your Si? The bumper matches the one I had on my '88 GL except I didn't have the driving lights.

Alright, Mr... or should I say SiR...
I'd be game to give ya a race, but I'm not kidding myself, I know you'd have me by a second or so over the ¼ mile. That's about right if yours is stock, isn't it? I think mine will do high 16s, and SiRs do high 15s, don't they? Buggered if I know! Then there'd be my driving to consider... I don't know the car very well yet! Still, it'd be fun anyway!
Setanta: I'm keen on those EF springs you have - what would be the cost of shipping (plus a case of beer)? That'd be cool, it'd save me one hassle! As to the year - it's JDM, so it's actually 1987 - one of the first ones.
I wasn't really intending on cutting the springs... it has always seemed a bit suspect to me, and... how you say... Rangi?
I know it isn't the quickest thing in the world, but yes, it is definately much quicker than my old CRX! I got a speeding fine in it the other day. I won't tell you the damage, but suffice to say I was doing 98km/h (61mph) in a 70 (43.5mph) area. Owtch! I wasn't happy.
Anyway, it's a lot of fun to drive - I've never owned anything anywhere near as fun, and somehow test driving random quick cars all this time (Read: EVO II, Porsche 944 S2 to name a couple) hasn't prepared me for owning the Si - I still really enjoy driving it.
I'm rather proud of it at any rate. I like the wheels, and it looks good tinted coz of the white paintjob. Add Setanta's springs to the package... nice! Thanx for all the positive comments guys, they reinforce already good feelings about the car :flash:
