buying a new used carRacincc85 08-11-2004, 01:07 PM My 90 buick lesabre is up to 150k. It's still running good, but the body is beginning to rust pretty bad. The wheelwells and basically the entire front frame is looking pretty bad. In another 6 months or so i should be able to afford a new car, but i have heard mixed things about the car that i am looking at. The one i want is a 1993-1995 audi 90 w/manual transmission and quattro. I've heard these are great cars from some people and that they are really crappy cars. I don't know who to believe or what the real deal is with this car. Do any of you know about this car? If it is a piece of junk, what would be a good japanese car to look into ( i don;t want some wussy 4 banger one)? Thanks!!!! MagicRat 08-11-2004, 07:42 PM Look at carsurvey.org. They have lots of used car reviews for just about anything. I think Audis are great cars to drive, but parts/service is more expensive than average, and the quattro version is the most complex of all. Just be prepared to shell out the dough when required to keep it running properly. rubix777 08-12-2004, 10:53 PM German cars cost so much to buy as well as repair.
