Question transmission program problem

I'm getting the "Transmission program " (1992 525i) on the display which goes into 3rd gear. Can anyone help to fix this problem.
Thank you in advance

Re: transmission program problem

you'll need to have the 'codes' pulled, there are a number of service bulletins regarding these transmissions, see someone with BMW experience.
