Battery dies

My battery dies in my 850 when left for a day or two.
I removed the fuse for the door lock system and it seemed to help.
I also shut off the dome lights.

Has anybody experienced this problem and does anybody know where the door lock madule as well as the dome light contoll module are located?

Re: Battery dies

I had the same problem - check to see that your glove compartment light isn't ON continuously!

Check the gloves department door switch. The door was not close enough to press the button that brakes the circuit for the light. It as simple as in a fridge. I just put a piece of rubber on a door, so now it works as it should.
(Volvo 850 1996).
