The air bag light on my 1997 Mada 626 LX 2.0L is flashing a sequence of 7 times, pause, then repeats the sequence. Is this phenomemon indicating a computer code (error code)? If so, how can I get information listing the definition for each code?

I've read on other automotive message forums that the Nissan Frontier uses this indicator light to display the error codes. This forum describes how to get, and reset, the error codes.
