Length, language, subtitles, PAL v. NTSC...
I see that the DVDs list some of that stuff...

Does it really matter what language they are in? I mean i bought them for the cars, i could care less what language (well i know a bit of Japanese so maybe its an unfair argument) I did e-mail them asking if the DVDs would play in our players as I know some DVD stuff is regional.

Odds are it will be in PAL version. For those in the States your players are NTSC. You would need a player that plays both for the VHS. The DVD and or VCD not sure.
Thankfully my VCR plays both formats

if these guys are selling the original version of the VHS tapes, they would be in NTSC format since japan uses NTSC (i had ordered my 2000 season videos while i was in japan).
this is the first time i've seen the videos being offered anywhere other than japan's teletech. since toyeast is in Hong Kong, the VHS tapes they offer may well be PAL-converted (and hence not the originals) since Hong Kong uses PAL...
if you're concerned about compatiblity, might as well buy the DVDs...
