Help!!!

Im having a problem with my 95 Millenia S. I brought the car and I started having the tcs problem as stated here on the forum and couldnt figure out what it was, then I was hearing this grinding noise coming from under the hood, and the car was overheating. In any case I took it to the mechanic and hes said there were some sensors damaged and the timing belt and water pump were damaged. I payed over $3500 to fix the car At first it was running without a problem but when it the car ran for a few and if i pressed the accelarator too much too fast the car would stutter and start to jerk.... And now it is over heating again I dont know what the problem is.. Any help from anybody would be very appreciative thank you.

I am having the same problem. The car jerks when starting to move out of a stopped position. After it kicks in to 2nd gear it was fine. Now I think the transmission is fried or something because it will not even go into drive or reverse. Someone tell me whats wrong.

Re: Help!!!

Hello All U Miserable Mazda Millenia Owners !

I have seen the light ! "No pun intended" I took my 95 Millenia S back to the dealer for the second time after having 2 other shops troubleshoot the problem for about a year and a half. We told them to keep it until they fixed the problem. They had the Mazda engineers on the phone several times. They were baffled! Once we informed them that we had to have a water pump and timing belt replaced (at a different shop) they found the problem. The morons at the other shop did not reconnect the vacuum hose back to the vacuum pump. It runs like new now! So, if you have had this type of work done on your Millenia or in that area of the engine, you may want to have your shop check for a disconnecte hose. (NOTE: I also found out that a split hose, a cracked or disconnected T-connector will cause the same problem, therefore it may be advisable to take it to the Mazda dealer to check the whole vacuum system. Especially since on the "S" there is a maze of hoses throughout the engine. The mechanic will need the proper vacuum schematics to troubleshoot any problem with the vacuum system.
