Can somebody help me?
I have a 1990 Audi 80 and the central locking recently failed. I would not usually be overly concerned, since I have keys for doors and trunk, but the fuel door has remained locked. At the gas station today I tried to open the keyless fuel door, but to no avail. Is there a way to manually override the fuel door lock? Must I fix the thing before I can get fuel?
If so how do I do this? I checked the fuse and it is fine. What would be the next step?
Try holding the door in while pressing the button??? Moving it around while pressing the button???
Other than that, I don' know. I would open it manually, probably with a flat head screw driver. You can do this carefully or not. Uncarefully (if that's a word) is easier, incase you were wondering

Shambles
Thanks--I figured it out by going through the trunk, peeling back the carpet, and unlocking it from there. But I appreciate the suggestions.
