Question How can I learn if it is standard or LSi

I bought a 99 Prism recently, I checked the CARFAX report, it says from the VIN number that this one is LSi model but, It is not written anywhere on the car. How can I understand if it is a LSi or a standard model? Should I trust the CarFax. Any ideas? Thank you...

Question Still a problem

I checked the VIN, it is 8. But still I am not convinced. Because I checked the standard features of LSi model, and I don't have some of these features like power mirror, keyless entry system. Any idea why is this confusion?

Question Edmunds

i checked from edmunds.com, keyless and auto mirrors should be standard, not in option package. Besides, there is no indication on the car that it is a LSi model, like there is no LSi writing at the back of the car.

Re: How can I learn if it is standard or LSi

I just barely bought mine.
Now, I didn't know that you could check via VIN #.

But I know that most of them don't say anything on the body to classify as Base or an LSI model.

I just bought mine.
`01 Prism LSI 1.8 VVT-I
So far I love it.
It came with cruise control and power door locks but that is basically everything.

The key opens all four doors and closes all four foors which is very handy if you have no keyless entree.

The VVT-I comes with the Corolla S engine if purchased at least a `00. So check your year.

I hope this helps.
