supercharged?

Has anyone supercharged an 850? I like the low torque that a super gives over the high HP of a turbo but i guess that's what the LPT is for. but still curious. Or How about a tubo on a 2.5l rather than the 2.3. That should be able to move a tank or at least in my dreams it does.

Re: supercharged?

I've never heard of anyone doing this. Modified Turbo Volvos have tons of torque. Many times the rods can't handle the torque and they break. You can get stronger eternals, then the skies the limit.
Isn't the s60 R a 2.5 turbo? I believe it is. 300hp from the factory.
