94 S10 4.3z knocking

Have a couple of issues.

Changed fuel filter yesterday and when I restarted it the engine starting knocking. It kept knocking for 5 minutes or so then finally went away. Changing the fuel filter shouldn't cause this should it? I've never noticed the knock before. I did notice the oil pressure was higher today than normal, but thought might be due to temps outside being low.

The motor only has 67,000 miles on it and the only other complaint I have is there seems to be some loss of power, but nothing terrible yet. Wonder where is a good place to start to find loss of power.

I have heard that when a main turns the oil pressure will raise abit, cause the oil can't flow through as well. The engine would still run with a loss of power, but for how long I don't know. When mine blew up it would start and run, with a loud ass knock.I hope this isn't your case though.
