I've bought all kinds of stuff from ebay, and the only problem I've had is people not paying. They don't get the item, but I still have to relist it.

i've spent like 2k on ebay...got burned once for $70 on some replacement carpet i ordered

i'm one of those people that don't read b4 i bid and end up winning an item i don't want...so i offer to pay relisting fees...itz usually about $3 and keeps u from getting bad feedback

Just bought a sweet set of KYB shocks on ebay last week. Got here in 3 days, brand new and in perfect shape. Bought new brake drums last month. Billet oil cap and dipstick, rims, and lighter/ashtray console, too. All good stuff.
I always check feedback and even email previous buyers to see if they're still happy with their purchases. Sometimes people don't tell the whole truth in their feedback; you get more honesty in an email.

I never had any problems with car stuff. When i had a 2000 mustang, however, i remember several scams that happened to v6power.net board members. It DOES happen. My friend recently got taken for a little over a grand for some wheels and tires that never showed up. Apparently, after selling a hundred and twenty or so items with flawless reviews, this asshole decided it was time to sell the same set of wheels to 7 different people, and jet with the money.

If it's stuff over a certain level, definately use escrow. Otherwise, cross your fingers, say your prayers, and good luck.

ebay is really good. i buy ALL my parts from there:
aem cold air intake, TSUDO catback, TSUDO header, MSD ignition, plugs, wires, blaster coil, springs, shocks, etc. damn i should be sponsered by ebay! lol
i've only had one bad incident with ebay. i paid for a gauge pod but the guy said he never recieved the payment, so i sent another one and he still said he never recieved it. bastards!!!!

just make sure u check there feedback. i only buy from people with over 100 positive feedback.

if u want to buy ur exhaust, go get it from the guy i baught mine from. he's reallllly cool and he'll give u deals. i got my TSUDO N1 catback from him for $250 shipped and headers for $155 shipped. Im very happy with both items. they give a nice deep throaty sound to the car, not a lame high pitch coffee can sound.
His ebay id is "nissangtrpower" and his aol instant messenger sn is "TOPEBAYSELLER888"

good luck
