Anyone ever seen a Pantera?enzo@af 05-22-2001, 07:02 PM I just saw one being transported this weekend. It was red, coming the other way on the Freeway. Man, it looked really nice! wellsit 05-22-2001, 08:57 PM I saw one a couple of weeks ago driving around Manchester, CT. I agree those cars are tight!:) Porsche 05-22-2001, 09:45 PM This isn't a definate sighting, but when I was driving around looking for houses, some hick house with an open garage had what looked like a beautiful Yello & Black Detomaso Pantera. It had a wing and looked a lot like one. Heep 05-23-2001, 03:10 PM I've never seen one, which is odd considering the cars I HAVE seen. But a guy that used to be an employee of my dad's had one. I think I was alive then...maybe I have seen one, I was probly just 2 years old or something. DVSNCYNIKL 05-23-2001, 03:15 PM About the only one I seen was in 1:18 scale.:( They don't have many exotics, if that, around the Bronx. Might get stolen! :sun: kris 05-28-2001, 06:23 PM I have seen two around town. They are regulars out here during the summer. I even had the experiance of losing to one in my civic :) Jay! 05-29-2001, 05:56 AM I've seen two, both at car shows. Never in action. :( Moppie 07-06-2001, 12:39 AM There was one for sale in the local Auto Trader for about 6mnths, I dont know if it ever sold though. And theres one that does the local NZ Targa every year. Very fast car to watch. Porsche 07-06-2001, 07:56 PM The one I saw was confirmed, my mom's fiance was coming back from Golf Last weekend and he saw it. flylwsi 07-07-2001, 03:58 PM cruised with one on the freeway... and my friends dad has one... vettemaan 07-07-2001, 11:28 PM ive seen 3 red black and yellow tanjwarrior 09-08-2001, 11:26 AM I've seen two in the last couple of weeks. I participate in the local car shows and both Pantera's were black. One was stock and in beautiful condition. There were only three of us displaying exotics so the lineup was: The black Pantera, a DeLorean, and my Porsches: 944 & 928. This last weekend I had my 928 next to a different black Pantera and it had been modified. The gentlemen had a mechanical supercharger sitting on top of a built 350 V8. The 6-speed gearbox and axle was changed so 3rd gear was direct drive. 4th, 5th and 6th were overdrive. The car is capable of 245 MPH (on paper). He hasn't gotten it over 180 MPH yet. Hell, both of us were laughing because I haven't gotten the 928 over 145 yet! No where in Iowa to run our vehicles at the speeds they were built for! We both may go down to Texas next year. They open a road up to high speed passes...much like going to the Salt Flats. You get a ten mile run and see how fast you can go. He and I have a tentative date to go. Trailer our vehicles and get there for the run. I used to race so I have the proper clothing for the high speed runs. Bean Bandit 09-08-2001, 03:27 PM About 3 at car shows and one regularly next to where I live in Black yellow:bandit: hermunn123 09-09-2001, 06:39 PM We both may go down to Texas next year. ToriTori 09-15-2003, 04:51 PM My boyfriend & his Dad are doing a complete restoration on a Pantera. I'm working on the upholstery & carpeting. Even in a million pieces it is definitely a hot car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. arthur12187 09-17-2003, 05:23 PM i have seen 2 yellow panthera! chicago_guy 09-19-2003, 02:59 PM iv seen 3 of them. a yellow one, a red one, and an orange one. those r some kick ass cars! tanner07 12-08-2003, 01:15 PM I've seen 3, yellow black and red. Highlyaspir8ed 12-08-2003, 01:26 PM when I was younger my grandfather owned a total of 8 dealerships in the detroit and west palm areas. he had a franchise to sell panteras. both my dad and my uncle each had one. my grandfather was also the first dealership in detroit to have the ability to sell the dolorean (I think I spelled that right). Pantera's are tight cars. ShinRekka 12-12-2003, 10:39 PM A few weeks ago i was driving with my dad and i was like "HOLY FUCK WHAT WAS THAT" and my dad smacked me in the face and said it was a pantera. REALY SICK. Was like an exotic muscle car. tha_new_guy 12-12-2003, 11:20 PM http://images.cardomain.com/member_images/4/web/316000-316999/316764_3_full.jpg I think i saw one a couple months ago. Here's (http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/316764) a twin turbo that this guy built. speedingpenguin 12-14-2003, 09:18 PM Hellya! In my area you see Panteras almost every single day durring the summer cause i'm right down the street from www.patsauto.com :-D I dont see his black pantera much on the street, but always out in front of his shop.... he also has a red one which i'm guessing he is working on cause its ALWAYS sitting outside either coverd with a tarp when its snowing or just by itself...... carguyinok 12-14-2003, 09:35 PM Hell yes, My dad worked for a guy that had two of them. It started out with one ferrari 308 (back in the late 70s) after the first few trips to the dealership for the tune-up\ clutch job on the 308 he said screw this :cya: . Sold the 308 took the money and bought two Panteras. I was little but still remember the few rides I took. Then back in the early 90s I was at a salvage auction and found one that took a light rear hit. It broke my hart that I didnt have the money. Saw that car go for $5700.00. :eek7: Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
