a girlfriend of mine is looking at a 93 civic with 145k.. its a 5speed i dont know alot about it but i was wondering whats the average miles you can get out of them... it has had no major mechanical work done to it and its stock.. there asking 1800... does that sound resonable??

Re: worth it?

can't see any of the pics 1800 could be good deal sounds it but if car is hurting.

Hondas can take a ton of abuse and miles quite well i my self have about that milage with a ton of street racing road racing AutoX events on the car it still purrs like new.

you can get tons and tons of miles out of them and there very common and easy to work on so if somthing does happen its a easy fix.

Well what model is the civic ex, dx, cx? I picked up a 96 dx, hach for only $1200, and it only has 100K miles with zero body damage and a hella of a strong motor. It'll smoke my brothers 95 ex!

Re: worth it?

Its a good deal. GET it. My bro's old 1995 Civic dx 200,000, was running like new till he sold it. I got my 96'Honda Civic Hx for about 4g's with 158k on it. My gf's 1990 CRX has about 295,xxx miles on it and the engine never had any problems. The Honda Civic is a very strong car (reliablity wise). And very good gas mileage.

Re: worth it?

sounds good...my friend bought a 87 civic w/ 250000 on it in 1999 and still drives it to this day with no problems (engine wise), but as long as u take care of it a civic will last damn near a lifetime
