2000 intelligent suspension control

Can I replace the electronic shock with plain old shocks? Wondered if this suspension had different spring rates from the standard setup. 2000 Rodeo LSE, v6 2wd.

You sure can. This is a very common thing, especially with people on these boards. I actually just bought 4 new monroe sensetracs for my 2000 rodeo.

Re: 2000 intelligent suspension control

It appears that you might not be able to do this. I was told that you could but I just attempted to do so and now my truck is stuck in the shop with one of the shocks cut off until I can figure out what to do.

Look like I may have to buy me isuzu electronic shocks for 160 a piece because the monroes that everyone suggested do no fit.

Talking

My 16 year old son Did mine (monroes) on my 2000 LSE a couple of months back with the truck on the ground no lift needed to do this. you will want to use a ratchet wrench on those top nuts after you hit em with wd40. with isc Your little shock dash light will stay on all the time but its well worth it to get rid of those isuzu shocks. ISC is a rip.

Re: 2000 intelligent suspension control

I just attempted this and I have now had to order two new rear shocks from the dealership beucase the monroes are nowhere near long enough.
